Super Mario - Papercraft

Hi everyone. This is my first papercraft project. I have some other complex ideas in mind, but at first I wanted to try something easy. I recognized that it is not so easy as it seems and that there are a lot of things one need to consider.

I learned that I need thicker paper, a different glue, make the hole thing bigger and so on and so on...

 

It would be very nice if some of you can give me some advices or tips so that I can improve my future projects. I am open for all of your critics, advices, hints etc.
